Macchi School
A 7th–12th grade school for economically disadvantaged students in Tobatí, founded and funded by Team Tobatí in genuine partnership with the local community.
What it is
A school built to stay
Located in a part of the world plagued by poverty and short horizons, the Macchi School is dedicated to inspiring hope and developing the necessary tools to transform students' lives and ultimately, those of Tobatí as a whole.
Macchi School serves students in grades 7 through 12 who might not otherwise have access to a quality secondary education. While the public schools in Tobatí meet for less than fours a day in over-crowded classrooms, the students at the Macchi School learn together for over eight hours a day in classes of less than twenty students.
Our hope is that students will not only complete a university program, but will return to to Tobatí afterward to take up the difficult task of solving some of the town's most serious problems.

Smaller classrooms, more classes, post-secondary opportunity
